You do not know the gestures or a word of the language. You do not know how to communicate. Every time you sense a pattern or sequential order to life, it changes. You feel frustrated and angry. You want to scream, yell and hit until someone takes you aside and breaks the language down for you. They help you to learn the language and gestures. They teach you the social norms and even help you to make friends. They help you adjust to the changes in patterns or order. This is what we do as ABA therapists for children who learn differently, such as children with autism.

✨ We are proud to share that the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center is now a KultureCity Certified Sensory Inclusive Venue! ✨ Our certification helps make our venue more accessible and inclusive for all guests with sensory needs—including individuals with autism, PTSD, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and more.
