Please join us in welcoming Dr. Alex Hamberis to Charleston ENT & Allergy 🎉 A native of Greenville, Dr. Hamberis is relocating from the foothills to the beach and will be seeing patients at the Mount Pleasant and West Ashley locations.

Dr. Hamberis began her schooling at the University of North Carolina and graduated Magna Cum Laude as a double major in biology and Spanish. She completed her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and then finished her training in Otolaryngology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she completed her internship and residency.

Charleston ENT & Allergy is excited to welcome Dr. Tanner Lyons to our team! Dr. Lyons will begin seeing patients September 8th in the North Charleston and Summerville offices 🩺

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Lyons earned his Biology degree from Centre College before attending the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete both his internship and residency in Otolaryngology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout his training, Dr. Lyons developed a passion for ENT after discovering how the specialty impacts essential senses we use every day and how improving them can greatly enhance a patient’s quality of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Lyons enjoys spending time with his wife, young son, and their four dogs—whether hiking, kayaking, or exploring Charleston’s restaurants. A lifelong Cincinnati Bengals fan, he also loves golfing, tackling home projects, and cheering on his team. Dr. Lyons looks forward to working with the amazing staff and patients at Charleston ENT & Allergy!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Nicholas B. Drury to Charleston ENT & Allergy! 🩺 He will be practicing at the Beaufort and Bluffton offices starting September 2nd.

Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, Dr. Drury earned his Biology degree from Davidson College before attending Mercer University School of Medicine, where he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Student Entering a Surgical Subspecialty. He went on to complete his residency at the Medical College of Georgia, serving as Chief Otolaryngology Resident.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Drury enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, watching and playing sports, and getting outdoors for fishing, boating, and hunting. 🎣⛳️🏈

We are thrilled to have Dr. Drury join our team and look forward to the expertise and compassionate care he will bring to our patients and community! 💙
