We’ve officially hit the road on our 2026 Route 66 adventure! This month, our travels took us from the bright lights of Chicago all the way to St. Louis, discovering stories, sights, and memories along the way. Route 66, often called The Mother Road was one of America’s first highways and stretches nearly 2,500 miles from Chicago to California. Fun fact: it passes through 8 states and has inspired songs, movies, and countless road trip dreams. We can’t wait to see where the road takes us next as we keep cruising west!

From dough to delicious! In honor of National Bagel Day, we made bagels from scratch using a simple two ingredient dough. We talked about how a more traditional bagel is made and had fun shaping our own creations.
