Internal Hip Rotation. You’re engaging in internal hip rotation quite a bit in everyday life. Improving the fluidity of this particular movement will only help you in activities of daily living (tasks like reaching up and around or bending down and over). Activities like pickleball, tennis, golf, and pitching/throwing all require this hip movement extensively as well. External hip rotation exercises tend to get more attention, but don’t forget the importance of internal rotation! Remember, these exercises can also help combat the potential buildup of chronic hip and back stiffness. Here are a few exercises you can do!
