The first 30 days in a new home can be a big transition for everyone involved.

If the first couple of days start to feel tough, remember: stability doesn't happen overnight. It's built step by step, day by day. 💚

This is a general snapshot of what the first month often includes. But every young person's experience is different, and support is always individualized based on their needs.

In foster care, small acts of kindness matter more than we can measure.

A packed lunch, a ride to practice, even a bedtime story. They may seem small, but to a child or teen, they mean everything. 💛

Kindness is so much more than one day, it's a lifelong commitment to caring.

Not every red flag looks dramatic. Sometimes it looks like anxiety, isolation or pressure that feels ‘normal.’ Awareness opens the door to supportive conversations.

These red flags help foster parents, caregivers and adults recognize when extra support may be needed. Learn more from our new blog on how to talk to teens about dating in the age of social media: https://hubs.ly/Q03_LP3b0

When we care for culture and identity, we care for the whole person. This is what showing up with respect looks like. 💚

February is Black History Month — a time to honor culture, identity and belonging. For many Black youth, having access to textured hair care products isn’t just about hygiene. It’s about dignity and feeling seen.

This month, we’re collecting essentials like shampoo, curl revitalizer and leave-in conditioner. These items may seem simple, but to the youth we serve, they represent respect, identity and love. 💛

The biggest shift in teen dating today is how relationships begin and grow online. Instead of passing notes in class, teens connect through memes, emojis, DMs and even videos. In many cases, relationships start digitally long before teens ever spend time together in person.

Read our new blog to learn how connection has changed, and what teens need and how you can support them.
