A quick glimpse at last months event at the Margaritaville Health & Wellness Expo!

It was incredible to see so many community members prioritizing their health and wellness. We loved having the chance to connect with so many familiar and new faces, including our friends at Beaufort Eye.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our table we hope to see you all again next year!

🌟 February Employees of the Month 🌟

Please join us in celebrating Jen B. and Laini W. for their outstanding dedication and commitment to patient care!

Jen has made an incredible impact in just 7 months as a valued member of Dr. Brown’s Front Desk Team. She has a true gift for building meaningful relationships with our patients and keeping the office running smoothly each day. Outside of work, Jen enjoys crafting, tackling DIY projects, and pup-sitting for her grand-dogs. Thank you, Jen, for the positivity and care you bring to the Retina Consultants team!

Laini serves in a hybrid role as a Technician on Mondays and Front Desk team member for Dr. Camacci Tuesday–Friday, where she continues to grow and excel. Her passion for learning and advancing her clinical knowledge, especially in disease states and treatment options, makes her an incredible asset to both our team and our patients. When she’s not at work, Laini enjoys spending time with her two cats, reading, and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.

Physician Spotlight: Dr. John Kerrison, MD

Charleston native and board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Kerrison specializes in retina and macula. Trained at Johns Hopkins’ Wilmer Eye Institute and a former U.S. Air Force physician, he combines world-class expertise, clinical research, and compassionate care to help patients protect and preserve their vision. 👁️ He was nominated as 2025 Healthlinks Best in Health Ophthalmologist in Charleston too. Thank you for all you do Dr. Kerrison!

Kenzie has been part of the RCSC family for 3½ years and currently serves as a scribe with Dr. Alfaro’s team. She’s passionate about her future in Retina and is excited to keep learning and growing. Outside of work, Kenzie treasures time with her son, making memories that mean the world to her. Thank you, Kenzie, for your hard work and commitment!

Taylor has been with RCSC for 1 year and 10 months and continues to shine as a scribe for Dr. Brown’s team. She loves caring for patients and embraces every opportunity to grow in her role, with goals of advancing in the medical field. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her enjoying time on the boat or staying active and fit.

We appreciate everything you both do, your dedication makes a difference every single day!
