Did a hive check this morning on the hunt for my queen bee… and she pulled a disappearing act! 🕵🏽‍♀️ While I didn’t spot her royal highness, I did see brood, larvae, and eggs—which means she’s been here recently. In one hive, it looks like the bees are making a new queen! Could this be a supersedure, or is my hive planning a royal coup? 🐝🍯 Stick around—beekeeping is never boring!

I whipped up a colorful broccoli stir-fry with onions and carrots, fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and homemade blueberry pancakes for my grandbabies. But here’s the twist — I taught them to eat their veggies first, then protein, and save the pancakes for last. Why? To help balance their blood sugar and keep those energy crashes away! 🧠💪Healthy habits can start at the breakfast table, even with a little syrup on the side. 🍴💚

Did you know sweet potato vines are edible and packed with nutrients? 🌿 I sautéed mine in a little olive oil and garlic, then added water to steam them to tender perfection. It’s simple, delicious, and straight from the garden to the plate!
