Our very own Dr. Matt Sherrier, PCSM faculty, served as team physician for the U.S. Soccer Cerebral Palsy Women’s National Team at the IFCPF Intercontinental Cup 🏆⚽️.

Not only did he represent MUSC Sports Medicine with pride, but the team brought home the championship title! 🙌🇺🇸

Citadel cadets took on Cadre Leadership Training at Parris Island, testing their grit through physical challenges, tactical exercises, and team-building events. Our new MUSC Sports Medicine fellows, Dr. Caitlin Bernardo and Dr. Garrett Burrell, alongside Dr. Geoff McLeod, provided expert medical coverage for injuries, heat illness, concussions, and more—keeping the future leaders mission-ready.
