Are you always low in vitamin D, but you take a vitamin D supplement? Have you ever wondered why you keep taking it if it doesn’t work? Maybe you are not looking at the right pathway! Maybe you are not producing enough bile or it’s too thick to flow. Bile is needed to break down your fat soluble vitamins. Those are Vitamins A, D, K and E. Your liver metabolizes vitamins D, so maybe your liver needs help. Are you taking a magnesium supplement or Vitamin K 7 to help with absorption. Without those, excess vitamin D can cause kidney stones, joint pain, muscle pain and other issues. These are just a tiny amount of things I look at and consider when I run a bioenergetic scan. I have seen the vitamin D high on a screening but low on lab. This means it’s being stored in the tissues and not utilized. A bioenergetic scan looks at other areas in the body. Bloodwork is a great tool but it only looks at what is in transport, not what is actually stored in the body. Lab can look normal but you can still have an excess or deficiency if pathways are not working. Want to learn more about YOUR body and not just the cookie cutter protocols?
