Telehealth.org (formerly known as the Telebehavioral Health Institute) provides consultation, training (both CME and CE programming online through an eLearning platform), policy development, staffing in and credentialing for hospitals, clinics, agencies, group and independent practice professionals who seek to develop telebehavioral and telemental health services. It also assists professionals who seek related employment opportunities. Telehealth.org's team of experienced consultants can help you with strategic planning, reimbursement, technology choices, legal and ethical risk management, and staff development/placement. Telehealth.org also provides a work/study program for clinicians in financial need who seek professional training and employment. Telehealth.org also consults with start-up technology companies seeking to develop new verticals in the behavioral health space. As a community service, Telehealth.org provides a weekly newsletter and monthly webinars to a worldwide professional community and donates a portion of its proceeds to grow pro-bono telemental health programs through its non-profit arm, the Telehealth Institute. These pro-bono services are offered through the Telehealth Institute (TI), a California-based non-profit, 501(3)(c) Institute designed to research and develop evidence-based training materials and resources.

Catastrophic AI risks highlight the need for whistleblower laws

As AI use grows, so potentially will the number of whistleblowers who report dangerous practices observed at companies, ranging from employment discrimination to the threat of human extinction. However, without specific AI laws to protect them, these whistleblowers face personal risks.

A handful of current and former employees from OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic highlighted the dangers of speaking out about AI in an open letter this week. Telebehavioral Health Institute, LLC

The Telebehavioral Health Institute, LLC (TBHI) has provided telehealth training and education to more than 36,000 medical, behavioral health and service professionals from over 83 countries. TBHI has grown into offering professional training programs focused on the use of videoconferencing, the telephone, email, text messaging, including heart-rate variability for use by physicians, osteopaths, nurse practitioners, nurses, midwives, physician assistants, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists in addition to psychologists, social workers, counselors, behavior analysts and students.

Using 21st Century instructional design, TBHI's eLearning materials are delivered in a variety of multi-media formats (text-based, audio and video clips to further illustrate key points or to give examples), in evidence-based single courses or sold as packages leading to one or two designations known as TBHI Board-Certified Telehealth Professional Micro Certification Level I or TBHI Board-Certified Telehealth Professional Micro Certification Level II.

Programs developed by TBHI are accompanied by complimentary continuing medical education (CME) or continuing education (CE) hours at no extra charge. TBHI also offers staffing and consultation services to groups or individuals to develop telehealth competencies, follow evidence-based telehealth protocols and efficiently start service delivery/reimbursement.
