What a great time we all had! It was a Christmas blast! Thank you, all of you wonderful good hearted people! And thank you, Sue, for capturing the fun on your camera.

Raven Power Yoga is a very unique studio...it is in the woods of Charlestown so it is surrounded by quiet. We look out at lacy white pines and sturdy oaks and have smooth, golden Georgia pine floors under our bare feet, inside the studio.

Besides our scheduled vinyasa and yoga body bootcamp classes, I offer unique opportunities, too. For starters, you can arrange for me to teach your own group of peeps for your own party here, you can have a private class for your family including children of all ages, our weekly book club starts the beginning of January. I have bead classes and fire circle evenings and journaling workshops and...

Oh! and I'm working on getting us to Fiji! It's time for a retreat in a place known for it's state of happiness! This beautiful island is known as the happiest place on earth!! Yes!!!!

Raven Power Yoga will start up fall schedule October 21st, no classes until then.

I'm on another adventure. I'll be in Chicago and Wisconsin for 2 weeks and plan to practice at some great studios with some great peeps, while I'm there. So far, I'm looking forward to being in Sheboygan Falls with Debbie Williamson and Kellie Lin Knott at Midwest Power Yoga. Yay! another dose of Debbie and Kellie Lin!

I'm going to Om on the Range, in Chicago, for the week I'm there. And, I'm going to see Mandy Roche's new studio, Root Down Yoga, In LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Yoga!!!! and good friends! The perfect combination.

Raven's Saturday class, September 14th, is canceled. A friend of mine, Rita Bobadonna, has passed away and I'll be going to her services in Fairfield, CT.

Rita was a wonderful, kind, upbeat woman and I loved her to pieces. Her attention was always on what other people needed and how to get it for them. Sometimes she bubbled over with her enthusiasm to help. I met her 8 years ago when my dad started to go to the Fairfield senior center, after my mom died. He joined their table for lunch and camaraderie. Theirs was a great group. My dad, Rita, Bill, Stanley and Peggy would go to the center every day and would always be the last to leave. They'd also go on picnics, to tag sales, to church fairs, and for spaghetti dinners, whenever they could. They referred to themselves as "the gang". "The gang" was God's gift for each of them.

Rita will be sorely missed by the friends she leaves behind, most of all Bill. When Rita and Bill met at the senior center, a romance blossomed for them. 4 years ago, Bill and she became engaged and began traveling to Florida, every winter. Bill told me once that it was thanks to Rita that he was enjoying his life with such energy. Stanley said it made him so happy to see the way they always held hands and cared for each other.

I will see Bill, Stanley and Peggy on Saturday knowing what a lucky person I am to share their love and friendship. They are God's gifts for me.

Hi everybody!

Raven's Saturday 10am July 27th class is canceled.

I'm doing something exciting, though, that I'll share with you when I get back. Some friends and I have a behind the scenes tour arranged with a vet at the Bronx Zoo!!! Lions and tigers and bears, and more!

Classes and privates will resume as usual, all other times. Thanks. And, I'll be bringing some animal energy to you.

Raven Power Yoga will be closed for 3 days next week, Monday to Wednesday (9/9, 10, 11). We'll be back on our mats for our regular Thursday 9:00 morning class. Fall schedule will be posted next week!
