Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can quickly reverse an opioid overdose by restoring normal breathing.​

It works by blocking the effects of opioids in the brain—but it has no impact on someone without opioids in their system and is not a treatment for opioid use disorder.​

On July 9, Southern Indiana Comprehensive Treatment Center hosted a Resource Fair with 15 local businesses joining us to share services and support.

To encourage engagement, patients visited each table and collected signatures on a card to enter a drawing for a food basket. It was a great way to connect our community, build awareness, and ensure patients had access to valuable local resources.

Thank you to all who participated and made the day a success.
