My furniture gathering friend Carol and I retrieved this beauty from a marketplace seller well over a year ago, but it finally made it into place in my bonus room. This room also goes by plant room number two. Once I find suitable covering for the top, it will be covered in plants. Baby and adolescent Schlumbergera plants, mostly.

For a rare moment both of my sons were at my home and able to carry it from the garage and up the stairs.

Not to make light of the part Carol played in the collection of this buffet…it was a beast. It weighed far more than I guessed it might. I had asked the seller if there was going to be someone to help us put it in my car, but he skipped out on us and his wife.

Although I can lift far more than I should, poor Carol probably had to carry her half and half of my half as well. Luckily the seller stepped in at the end to help lift it into the car.

PS I still miss my Lexus SUV, it was extra comfortable and could hold large amounts of furniture!

PSS I remain ever grateful that Carol still says yes when I suggest another expedition!

My oldest granddaughter played the Farmer in The Lightening Thief - The Percy Jackson Musical. They all did a fabulous job!
