Week 2 of the American House Winter Olympics had excitement, creativity, and laughter! From physical events like speed skating and axe-throwing to brain games like Guess the Flag, residents stayed busy and their spirits were high! Our communities continue to prove that age is just a number!

As our residents experience the 2026 Winter Olympics, both on TV and in their communitites, this is a special time for one American House Keene resident. As a student at Keene Junior High, Barry had the remarkable opportunity to attend the very first Special Olympics in Chicago in 1968. Not only did Barry help carry the torch, but he also competed in several events and delivered a speech in front of a huge crowd that aired on national television.
