Over the past several weeks, Keith Streicher, Chairman of the Maryland Veterans Home Commission, has had the privilege of representing the Commission at a number of meaningful events — each one reaffirming the Commission’s mission to strengthen the care, support, and quality of life for the veterans who call Charlotte Hall Veterans Home (CHVH) their own.
From the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families’ MSO/VSO Journey Mapping & Solution Setting Session to Veterans Day galas and the Prince George’s County Veterans Luncheon, these gatherings underscored a shared truth: when state leadership, community partners, and veteran-serving organizations unite around a common purpose, the impact on CHVH residents — and veterans across Maryland — grows stronger.
As Chairman, Keith Streicher remains committed to working alongside fellow commissioners, state partners, and advocates who bring compassion, accountability, and innovation to this work. Under his leadership, the Commission continues to focus on ensuring that every resident at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home receives the dignity, comfort, and high-quality care they deserve, and that the Home remains a place where Maryland’s veterans can truly thrive.
Each conversation, partnership, and shared commitment moves Maryland closer to a future where every veteran’s service is honored through action — not just words.
Chairman Streicher extends appreciation to the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families and Acting Secretary Ed Rothstein; Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy; and Dr. George Onyenyeonwu, Director of Veterans Affairs. Gratitude is also extended to every partner who continues to lead with purpose on behalf of those who served.
It remains a profound honor for Chairman Streicher and the Commission to support the residents, families, and dedicated staff of Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.
