For a sweet, nutty snack, try these delicious Pistachio Oat Squares! The protein and fiber from the oats and pistachios will help you feel refreshed, and coconut and honey for a sweet boost of energy!
Ingredients:
1 cup raw shelled pistachios
1 cup rolled oats
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ cup honey, more for drizzling on top
2 tablespoons olive oil
⅓ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
additional handful of chopped pistachios for the topping
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper. Put your oats, pistachios, and salt in a food processor and process for 30 seconds. While processing, drizzle in your honey and olive oil. Press the dough evenly and cover them with your coconut flakes and remaining pistachios. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the coconut is nice and golden brown and the dough is cooked through. You want the squares to still be a little soft. Drizzle a little honey on top and enjoy!

Low Lunge Pose, or Anjaneyasana, is an easy pose to open your hips, stretch your inner thighs, and improve your overall balance.
First, start on your knees with your lower legs flat behind you. Step your right foot forward and bend your knee over your ankle. You can put your hands on your hips or thighs. Be sure to keep your hips squared and engage your core. Hold for a few breaths then release. Repeat on the other side.
Always move within your comfort level and consult a healthcare provider if needed.

For a naturally sweet, crunchy breakfast, try this Pistachio & Peach Toast! The peaches provide a variety of vitamins such as vitamins A and C, plus protein from the ricotta and pistachios!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon part-skim ricotta cheese
1 teaspoon honey, divided into halves
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
1 slice toasted whole-wheat bread
½ sliced medium peach
1 tablespoon chopped pistachios
Combine the ricotta, ½ teaspoon of honey, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Spread the mixture onto your toast and top it with peach and pistachios. Drizzle your remaining ½ teaspoon of honey and enjoy!
