Kale chips are an easy snack for when you’re craving a crunch, while also containing vitamins and antioxidants that fight cell damage! They also support heart health, aid digestion, and provide other essential nutrients like calcium and potassium.
Ingredients:
2 bunches of curly kale (about 2 1/2 pounds)
1/4 cup of olive oil
Salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Cut the hard stem out of the kale and wash and dry. Place it in a bowl and toss with your olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of pepper. Evenly space your kale on a sheet pan, mindful not to put too many. Roast for 15 minutes or until crisp and enjoy!

janu Sirsasana, also called Head-to-Knee pose, is great for stretching out tight hamstrings and assisting in digestion, while also being simple enough for beginners!
Start by sitting with both legs out in front of you. Bend your right knee to a 90° angle or as much as comfortable and rest the sole of your foot on your inner thigh. Lift your arms up and bend towards your outstretched leg as far as comfortable. Hold for a few breaths, then repeat on the other side.
Always move within your comfort level and consult a healthcare provider if needed.

For a refreshing and filling lunch, try this Cucumber-Hummus Wrap! Packed with vitamins from the cabbage and cucumber and the rich and creamy hummus and yogurt providing probiotics, this healthy lunch will have you feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day!

Ingredients:

1 (8-inch) whole-wheat tortilla
¼ cup of hummus
⅓ cup of thinly sliced cucumber
1 tablespoon of low-fat plain yogurt
1 tablespoon of pickle juice
¾ cup of shredded green cabbage
(Optional) 1 tablespoon of chopped herbs, such as dill, chives or parsley

Spread the hummus on the tortilla and place your sliced cucumber across the tortilla. Mix your yogurt, pickle juice, and herbs (if using) together in a medium bowl. Add your cabbage in and toss to coat, then add the cabbage mixture on top of the cucumbers. Now just roll it up, cut it in half, and enjoy!

Balasana, also called Child’s Pose, is a great beginner-friendly pose to gently stretch your shoulders, back, and ankles. It’s also great for opening up your hips and helps with flexibility.
Kneel on the floor, sitting back on your heels. open your knees as wide as feels comfortable Lean forward, extending your arms ahead and resting your forehead on the floor or a yoga block. Breathe deeply and relax your entire body.
