✨ Yoga is so much more than poses ✨
When most people hear “yoga,” they think of stretching, balance, and those awe-inspiring postures (we love those too! 🙌). But the true depth of yoga goes far beyond the mat.
The Eight Limbs of Yoga, from the ancient Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, offer a holistic path for living a balanced, mindful, and purposeful life:
1️⃣ Yamas – Ethical principles for how we treat others.
2️⃣ Niyamas – Personal observances and self-discipline.
3️⃣ Asana – The physical postures that strengthen and open the body.
4️⃣ Pranayama – Breath control to calm the mind and energize the body.
5️⃣ Pratyahara – Withdrawal of the senses to turn inward.
6️⃣ Dharana – Focused concentration.
