At Coordinated Movements, Inc., the patient ALWAYS comes first. Coordinated Movements, Inc. has been serving the Southern Maryland community since March 1999.

We specialize in pediatric Occupational, Physical and Speech Language Therapy. Our staff offers quality and reliable therapy services to your child. In addition, our friendly and professional staff is here to answer any questions you may have about our company or our services.

Meet our Director!

Noelle Welch, OTD, OTR/L💜
Noelle is a Maryland licensed and nationally certified Occupational Therapist who practices in Southern Maryland. She is a 1993 graduate of Towson State University where she received her BS in Occupational Therapy. She received her post-professional master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2017 and her post-professional clinical doctorate in 2019, both from Misericordia University. She completed her capstone on Visually Enhanced Occupational Therapy: Education, Intervention, and Advocacy.

While practicing in the school system, she identified the need for an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic, and, in 1999, Dr. Welch opened Coordinated Movements, Inc., the first pediatric, outpatient therapy clinic in Southern Maryland. Dr. Welch continues to operate and practice at Coordinated Movements, Inc.

Dr. Welch is trained in SOS Approach to Feeding and Dynamic Movement Intervention Level A and B. She is an Advanced mentored Clinician in Sensory Processing Disorder and is SIPT Certified. She is Certified in Interactive Metronome and has achieved her DIR Floortime Certificate of Proficiency. She has completed training in Therapeutic Listening, Integrated Listening, and the Safe and Sound Protocol. She has completed numerous continuing education courses on Vision, Low Vision, oral motor skills, breastfeeding, and bottle feeding.

Dr. Welch taught the Vision Rehabilitation course at Misericordia University. She has lectured throughout Southern Maryland on issues related to Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Vision, DIR, and Problematic Feeding.

Dr. Welch participates in advocacy work and provided testimony on the Inter-state Licensure Compact Bill to the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland Senate during the 2021 sessions.

Noelle lives in Southern Maryland with her husband and enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and dogs.

Tara P, DPT 💜
Tara graduated from Creighton University with DPT in 1997. She became a board-certified clinical specialist (PCS) in pediatrics in 2007. Over the past 26 years, Tara has gained experience in short and long term acute care, nursing homes, pediatric and adult rehabilitation, school systems, and outpatient pediatrics. Tara had been a part of the Coordinated Movements team since 2013. She has completed continuing education in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), craniosacral therapy (CST), vision, concussion management, Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), toe walking, serial casting and orthotics, and Total Motion Release (TMR). Her special interests include: torticollis/plagiocephaly, orthotics, toe walking, hippotherapy, and aquatics. Tara is also fluent in Spanish and has done overseas work in the Dominican Republic.

Tara graduated from Towson University in 2010 with her Master’s degree in occupational therapy. She has been practicing in the outpatient pediatric setting since her graduation. She has experience working with children ages birth through adolescents with a wide variety of diagnoses. Tara is an SOS trained feeding therapist, a certified Therapeutic Listening provider and a certified Interactive Metronome provider. She also has experience and training with the Handwriting Without Tears program, Keyboarding Without Tears program, DIR/Floortime approach, Integrated Listening System, Rhythmic Movement training and Visual Motor integration.

Arllette S, M.A. CCC-SLP 💜
Arllette graduated from the University of Maryland in 1995, earning her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. After a 10-year career with a local public school system, she joined the Coordinated Movements team in September 2004. She loves working with the pediatric population and has experience working with children from birth to adolescents with conditions including auditory processing disorder, autism, apraxia, cerebral palsy, cleft palate, hearing impairment, rare genetic disorders, and traumatic brain injury. Arllette especially enjoys treating complex articulation disorders. She has training and is familiar with PROMPT, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, Hanen, Rhythmic Movement and DIRFloortime®. Arllette recently received her 3rd ACE award from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association for earning 70 continuing education contact hours in a 3-year period. Arllette is currently licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, Alabama and Tennessee.

Mackenzie graduated from Towson University completing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2021. She has worked in pediatrics since graduating. She has been a part of the Coordinated Movements family since 2015 when she started working as a rehab technician. Mackenzie is trained in SOS Approach to Feeding. She has experience working with a multitude of diagnoses and has a primary interest in feeding therapy.

Brooke graduated from Towson University in 2022 where she completed her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. She has been a part of the Coordinated Movements family since August 2022 where she recently completed her clinical fellowship. She has experience working with a multitude of diagnoses and has a primary interest in helping school-age clients with their articulation and language skills.

Shara received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Towson University and has been practicing as a pediatric occupational therapist in the outpatient setting for 10 years. She has experience working with children from birth to adolescents with conditions including sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, autism, genetic conditions, cerebral palsy, and down syndrome. Shara is an SOS trained feeding therapist and a certified Interactive Metronome provider. She has training and is familiar with the DIR/Floortime model, Handwriting Without Tears, Keyboarding Without Tears, Rhythmic Movement, Therapeutic Listening, and has special interest in and experience with animal assisted therapy.

Charlee graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2013, earning her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. She has 7 years of experience, across three states (CT, PA, MD), working with the adult/geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities- primarily in the areas of swallowing disorders and cognition. Charlee joined the Coordinated Movements team at the beginning of 2020 and enjoys the diversity of working with children of all ages to improve their articulation and language skills. Charlee is trained in the LSVT Loud program and the SOS Approach to Feeding.

Anna is trained in SOS Approach to Feeding, AEIOU: An Integrated Approach to Pediatric Feeding, and Integrated Listening Systems Safe & Sound Protocol and Focus System. She has experience working with a multitude of diagnoses and has a primary interest in those related to neurodevelopmental dysfunction.
