January 20th, 2026… a date that changed our lives forever. A day filled with fear, trauma, and uncertainty.
Today I look at my son and all I see is strength, determination, and pure faith in motion.
The progress Kamryn has made since that traumatic experience is nothing short of a miracle. From ICU, to rehab, to putting in the hard work every single day — he continues to fight with everything in him. His upper body strength, his mindset, his resilience… it amazes me. I am beyond proud of this strong, determined young man. He has made the choice to stay focused on healing, on growth, and most importantly on Jesus as he works toward regaining his independence and embracing this second chance at his new life.
This journey isn’t easy. Some days are heavy. But God has carried us through every step so far, and I know He’s not finished yet.
Please continue to pray for Kamryn’s physical strength, mental endurance, and spiritual peace as he keeps pushing forward. His story is still being written and it’s going to be powerful.

So proud to be your mom, Kam. Keep fighting. 💪🏽❤️

We are finally HOME!!! 🙌🏽❤️

I just want to say a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who has texted, called, prayed, donated to Kam’s GoFundMe, and blessed us through our Amazon wish list. We truly could not have made it this far without your love, generosity, and constant support.

Today we left rehab and made it home, and it feels so good. This journey is far from over — we still have a long road ahead with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and private sessions as Kam continues working toward his goal to walk again. But we are not finished, and neither is God.

Please continue to pray for strength, healing, endurance, and big victories ahead. I’ll keep sharing updates on Kamryn’s journey to success. He feels the love and knows he has an army behind him. 💪🏽✨

Look how strong my baby is — learning to walk again just three weeks in. 💪🏼
Boy, has this been rough. We’ve laughed, cried, and shared so many heartfelt moments with the most loving friends and family standing right beside him.
Please continue to pray for Kam and the road ahead. Every prayer, every message, every bit of support means more than you know.
Just wanted to share a little progress and ask y’all to reach out to Kam — let him know how proud you are and remind him he has an army behind him. 🤍

Huge thank you to david ortiz the best barber in gaston & surrounding… for stopping by the spinal rehabilitation center to give Kam a fresh cut. This haircut did way more than clean him up — it helped him feel like himself again, and that means everything right now!
David, thank you not only for showing up for Kam today, but for all of the support, encouragement, and mentoring you’ve given kam over the years. Your heart, your talent, and your consistency never go unnoticed. We are beyond grateful 🙏🏽💈💙

💪 Kamryn Update 💪
Kamryn has had such a great week at the spinal rehabilitation center! He’s been gaining upper body strength, pushing himself in therapy, and showing so much determination every single day. Watching his progress has truly been a blessing.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked on us, donated through the GoFundMe, or helped by purchasing items from his Amazon wishlist. Every prayer, message, and contribution has helped us prepare for a safe transition home and eased so much of the stress during this time.

Our lives changed in an instant. Kamryn is courageously recovering from a spinal cord injury, and as a family we are learning how to adapt to wheelchair life at home. There are many adjustments ahead—home modifications, medical equipment, and accessibility needs.
Any support, prayers, shares, or encouragement mean more than we can express. Kamryn continues to fight with strength, faith, and hope every single day. Thank you for standing with us and helping us create a safe space for his recovery. 💙🙏
