1. “Perfect” doesn’t exist — and it’s not the goal
Even the best surgeons work with human anatomy, not filters. Swelling, asymmetry, scars, and healing timelines are normal. The real goal is improvement, balance, and safety, not flawlessness.
2. Recovery matters as much as the surgery itself
What you do after surgery—sleeping position, compression garments, movement, nutrition—can impact your results just as much as what happens in the OR. Surgery is a partnership, not a one-day event.
3. More surgery doesn’t always mean better results
Chasing “one more tweak” can actually compromise tissue, scars, or long-term outcomes. Sometimes the most expert decision is knowing when to stop.
