3 important questions for high achievers who are feeling fatigued to help clear the clutter.
⚡️What responsibilities have I taken upon myself that are not necessary or not mine to take on?
In my personal experience, as a high achiever with a lot of goals, I tend to take on a lot of goals all at once with set timelines. And while this might feel asperational, it’s important to have a balance and know your personal boundaries. Additionally, are you always offering to help and support others to the extent that it doesn’t leave you with time to just be, and fill your own cup?
⚡️What daily habits do I have that are getting in the way of having a clear mind and energy?
Take a really good look at the habits in your day, from when you wake up until you close your eyes at night. It’s time for a real audit. List for yourself all habits related to consumption as well as time of consumption: what you see, taste, listen to and when. (social media, doomscrolling, s**t food, s**t news, politics, gossip, s**t music, trash TV, junk food and the list goes on)
It’s a cycle. What you consume into your internal world will absolutely have an impact on your external world. You can choose to bury your head in the sand or accept what is true.
⚡️In what areas of my life have I taken on someone else’s dreams/desires and let go of my own?
Aside from the influence that people in our personal lives have on us, in a world in which we have so much exposure into everyone else’s lives, it is so easy to think the grass is greener somewhere else. There are so many business ideas out there and everyone showing off their lifestyle and everything looks so glamorous. It can be easy to lose sight of what is truly important to us personally and keep hopping onto the bandwagon of everyone else’s dreams and desires. When was the last time you just sat with yourself in stillness and envision what you want your life to truly look like?
Which one resonates the most with you?
