We are wanting to bring awareness to all of those with disabilities and support them in their environment.

Dysphagia Awareness Month is celebrated the entire month of June! Dysphagia is the difficulty in swallowing food or liquids that can result to a blockage. The disorder impacts almost 1 in 25 individuals.

It’s Apraxia Awareness Day! Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to speak. Normally, children with apraxia have a good understanding of language and know what they want to say. However, they have difficulty learning or carrying out the complex movements of speech.
