Our experienced team completed this two-columbarium addition last week for a church in South Carolina. We installed the first columbarium a few years ago, which was set in front of the prayer labyrinth. This elegant custom curved columbarium was crafted from Mahogany granite and features Jet Black granite niche doors, which we engrave as needed.

Gaulden Monuments has many columbaria choices for your church or organization. We also welcome requests for custom creations and will help guide you through each step of the process. Our expert in-house team handles every aspect from design to installation, with the exception of cutting the granite. We invite you to call or stop by our office for assistance with creating the perfect columbarium for your needs.

Crafted from gray granite, this unique monument was customized to honor the life of a truck driver. A rustic reflecting bench with a customized curved seat was added just off to the side giving space to gaze over the monument and grave site. What a beautiful way to honor the memory of a loved one!

Gaulden Monuments welcomes requests for custom monuments. We can craft a monument using your ideas or help you come up with a design that honors your loved one. Our dedicated and experienced staff will assist you in every step of the memorial process. Come see what sets Gaulden Monuments apart from the rest.

This beautiful custom mausoleum was completed last Thursday for a family (pre-need). The project included custom molding, uniquely joined with a central family name stone along with an Hourglass Leg bench. Crafted from both Gray and Jet Black granite, this makes an elegant space for two above ground burials in the future.

This unique piece of marble was sculpted by Laura Roberts, who worked at Wolf Funeral Home in Fort Mill, SC and represented Gaulden Monuments with monument sales and service for decades. After Laura passed away unexpectedly, her parents sought our help to display and remember her art as it is a piece that they treasure dearly.

Laura called her marble sculpture "The Wave" as in a surfing wave from Hawaii. This gave our team the idea of suspending "The Wave" above a piece of Jet Black granite to enhance the life and motion of the sculpture. Nathan Gaulden and Daniel Gaulden personally installed this in her parents' garden. Laura is also remembered with a traditional memorial in the cemetery, but this brings special memories to her family each time they pass by it in their yard.

We were honored to collaborate with Laura's family to create this beautiful memorial. Our team is thankful that we had the opportunity to work with Laura for many years and will always cherish her memory.

We installed this sacred crucifix monument late last year at Mount Zion Community Cemetery in Cornelius, NC. It will be a prominent feature marking a designated Catholic section in the community cemetery. The cross, base and mid-base were crafted from gray granite and the statue of Jesus was hand-carved from white marble.

Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home facilitated the order, and we were honored to craft this profound symbol of faith.

Recently, Daniel and Bobby Gaulden installed a stunning custom-made granite sign for Eastview Cemetery, taking time to appreciate the fall weather together. As a historic community cemetery in Wadesboro, NC, Eastview is the final resting place for several distinguished individuals, including US Politician Thomas Samuel Ashe and US Congressmen Alvin Paul Kitchin Jr., James Alexander Lockhart, and Leonidas Dunlap Robinson. We were privileged to create this custom sign for the Eastwood Cemetery Association.
