Love holiday meals, but not the heartburn that comes afterward?

Spicy or acidic foods (like tomato sauce, citrus, and wine) can trigger reflux and irritate your throat.

· Eat smaller portions
· Skip late-night snacks
· Stay hydrated

Your voice and throat will thank you this holiday season!

Hosting for the holidays?🎄Make sure everyone feels included at the table.

Here are a few simple ways to make gatherings easier for loved ones with hearing loss
1️⃣ Reduce background noise
Turn off the TV or lower background music during meals — it helps everyone follow the conversation more easily.
2️⃣ Choose good lighting
Well-lit rooms make lip reading and facial cues easier for those who rely on them.
3️⃣ Sit smart
Arrange seating so the person with hearing loss can see faces clearly — and avoid sitting them near the kitchen or noisy areas.
4️⃣ Speak clearly (but naturally)
Face the person, don’t shout, and avoid talking from another room. Clear speech beats loud speech every time!
5️⃣ Be patient and include everyone
If someone misses a joke or comment, repeat it kindly — those small gestures make gatherings feel more inclusive and warm.

A few small adjustments can make a big difference in helping everyone feel connected this holiday season.❤️

Dry air, stuffy sinuses, and surprise nosebleeds… sounds like winter is here! ❄️👃

Cooler months mean lower humidity, which can irritate your nasal passages and cause those random nosebleeds.

Keep your nose happy this season:
🌿 Stay hydrated
💧 Use saline spray
🏠 Run a humidifier indoors

And if you’re getting frequent nosebleeds, our ENT specialists are here to help.

Did you know? People with untreated hearing loss are twice as likely to experience depression.

When hearing becomes difficult, conversations get tiring — and social isolation often follows. Over time, that disconnection can affect mood, memory, and confidence. The good news: treating hearing loss with hearing aids or assistive devices can restore connection, improve focus, and boost overall well-being.

Don’t wait to feel better — better hearing truly means better living. Schedule your hearing evaluation today and take the first step toward reconnecting with the sounds that matter most.
