Parenting is no joke and it’s much like ascending a mountain day in and day out. It’s hard and lovely and complicated and fascinating and triggering and amazing. As a 10 year seasoned Parenting Coach and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice and Elementary School Teacher, I have been HEAVILY encouraged to offer virtual parent coaching workshops to help parents navigate the ups and downs and unknowns and quandaries of raising children. So, The Ascent Virtual Parent Coaching Workshops were born!

These virtual workshops are designed to provide you with:

1. First and foremost, knowledge. It truly is power. The first 30-40 minutes of each workshop will include direct education and coaching on the topic of the week. 🧠

2. Community. So so so many parents feel like they are ascending these mountains in isolation. Every workshop will provide 15-20 minutes of Q&A. The synergy provided amongst others walking a similar path is motivating. 💙

3. Continued support. After each 6 week virtual workshop ends, all parents are invited to join The Ascent Private Facebook group. This will be a place of continued encouragement, support, and guidance. With various levels of seasoned parents, the wealth of knowledge and guidance will be invaluable. 😀

4. Watch-back. The teaching portions of each workshop will be recorded and emailed directly to each parent to watch back at any time desired and/or if a parent has to miss a session for any reason. 🎥

One of the best and easiest ways to release the emotional, mental, physical, spiritual overwhelm— WRITE IT DOWN. This gives your brain space to sort and ponder and plan. Leaving it all inside is a crazy maker— literally. There are no rules. There is no judge. Just get it on the outside of you. But it can also be beautiful and bold and full and peaceful. Talking to a therapist can provide perspective and insight in how to change the narrative that you’ve been writing.
