Crown Jewels Chapter of The Links, Incorporated The Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter is linked in friendship to serve and enrich communities of color.

The Crown Jewels Chapter, located in Charlotte, North Carolina began as an interest group in 1990 sponsored by the Charlotte Chapter of the Links, Incorporated. Chartered on June 19, 1993, efforts have been combined to make a positive difference and enrich the community. Crown Jewels members have excelled in their professions and have an extensive history of individual civic responsibility, participation, and leadership. The Crown Jewels Chapter is committed to enhancing the quality of life in Charlotte and across the world. While supporting the programmatic thrust of the Links, Incorporated, we molded national and area programs to address the needs of our local community. Style. Confidence. Opportunity: The Linked For Success Career Closet is now open at Clinton College!

Last week, the Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, led by our National Trends and Services Facet, proudly partnered with Clinton College to bring this impactful initiative to life.

Created to support both female and male students, the Linked For Success Career Closet offers access to professional clothing and experiences designed to help students build confidence, strengthen their personal brand, and prepare for future career opportunities.

The grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, boutique-style shopping with guidance on curated looks, and interactive sessions focused onpersonal branding, confident self-presentation, and elevator pitches.

More than a closet, this initiative helps students move forward with confidence, presence, and preparation for what comes next.

As we bring our celebration of Women's History Month to a close, we recognize another distinguished chapter member, Judge Karen Eady-Williams, whose dedication to justice and service inspires her community, her profession, and our chapter.

Karen has over 30 years of experience in the legal field and has served as an elected judicial official in the 26th Judicial District of North Carolina since 2009. As a Superior Court judge since 2017, she presides over high-dollar civil cases and felony criminal matters, and she recently filed for re-election to continue her service unopposed beginning January 2027. Prior to the Superior Court bench, she served eight years on the District Court bench, leading Mecklenburg County’s criminal, drug, and mental health treatment courts.

Her career began as an Assistant Public Defender, followed by service as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, focusing on major white-collar crimes and supervising the Financial Litigation Unit. She later joined Wachovia Corporation as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, managing large-dollar litigation and advising the Anti-Money Laundering Division.

Within the legal profession, Karen serves on the North Carolina Pattern Jury Instructions Committee, has been Vice President of the Mecklenburg County Bar, and has held prestigious appointments including the Federal Local Rules Committee and the Federal Merit Selection Panel.

Beyond her professional achievements, Karen demonstrates unwavering commitment to community service, serving on boards such as the Arts and Science Council, Belmont Community Development Corporation, Hornets’ Nest Girl Scouts Council, and Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont. An active member of the Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, she has chaired numerous committees and contributed to advancing programs that uplift our community.

As we continue to celebrate Women's History Month, we highlight another inspiring chapter member, Felcia Bittle, a visionary entrepreneur and image strategist whose work empowers women to show up with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.

Felcia is the Founder & Principal Stylist of FABstyles, LLC, a certified image and style consultancy dedicated to helping high-achieving women elevate their presence through intentional wardrobe choices and personal branding.

As a HUB & MWBE certified professional, she partners with clients, universities, nonprofits, and corporate organizations to deliver workshops, keynote presentations, and training on executive presence, personal brand development, and professional impact.

Her expertise has earned recognition across the fashion and media industries. Felcia was named one of Charlotte’s Top 20 Fashion Influencers and recently featured in VoyageRaleigh, where she shared her entrepreneurial journey. She also spoke at NC A&T State University on “Power in Presentation,” highlighting her influence in building confidence, executive presence, and how women show up and lead. Earlier this year, she was accepted into the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business – Spring 2026 Cohort, reflecting her growing impact as a business leader.

Fitting for Women’s History Month, Felicia has been named by Dress for Success Charlotte as one of its 2026 Women Who Inspire, honoring her impact and commitment to empowering women.

With pride during Women’s History Month, we honor our very own Chapter President, Evette Beckett-Tuggle, a visionary leader whose passion for empowering women and fostering excellence inspires our chapter and community.

In addition to leading our Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, Evette serves as CEO and Managing Principal of The Agilant Group, LLC, where she guides women and organizations to reach their highest potential. She is a Certified Master Coach, author of The Heartfelt Voice: A Writing Guide for Women to Affirm, Encourage, and Empower, and a contributing author to publications celebrating women’s voices and leadership.

Her notable career spans senior leadership roles across the nonprofit, public, and private sectors, including President and CEO of the Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council, Chief Marketing Officer for Global Music Network and Essence Magazine, and Vice President of Global Marketing at Citibank. She also served as a peer advisory group Chair with Vistage, supporting CEOs and executives in strategic growth and leadership development.

Beyond her professional achievements, Evette’s commitment to community, women, and the arts is reflected in her service on the Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and work with the Carolina Women’s Club. She also previously served on boards for the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art Board and Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we recognize another one of our own, Lynne Fuller-Andrews, a strategic business and legal leader whose impact spans boardrooms, industries, and communities.

As Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Sunbelt Rentals, Lynne leads critical areas including legal strategy, corporate governance, risk, and compliance, helping guide the direction and strength of a global organization.

Her distinguished career also includes key leadership roles at industry leaders such as Hanesbrands, Sara Lee Corporation, and Georgia-Pacific LLC, where she helped drive corporate transformations and complex legal strategies.

Most recently, Lynne was instrumental in guiding Sunbelt Rentals through its transition from the London Stock Exchange to being publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, a milestone that highlights the company’s growth and global reach.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lynne’s commitment to service is reflected in her impactful leadership on the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art board, her past service with the Novant Health Foundation, and her involvement with the International Women’s Forum, all of which demonstrate her dedication to arts, health, and advancing women in leadership.

This Women’s History Month, we celebrate chapter member Dr. Tiffani Teachey, a champion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) whose passion fuels her impact and leadership.

At the intersection of engineering, AI, and education, Dr. Teachey has spent over two decades advancing progress while empowering the next generation of STEM leaders.

Through her work as a STEM advocate, author, and entrepreneur, she is helping shape more inclusive, future-ready pathways for youth and professionals alike. As a TEDx speaker and award-winning author of multiple STEM-focused books, her voice and influence continue to reach new audiences.

Most recently, she successfully defended her dissertation, “A Narrative Analysis of Career Success Among Black Women in C-Suite Leadership Positions Within STEM,” further advancing critical conversations around representation and leadership.

Her excellence has also been recognized by NSBE as Region 2 Professional of the Year and by the UNC Charlotte Black Alumni Chapter for Excellence in Leadership in STEM.

Within our chapter, her impact runs just as deep. She was instrumental in launching the Crown Jewels - Phillip O. Berry NSBE Jr. Chapter, creating opportunities for young scholars to explore and excel in STEM.

From health screenings to a range of wellness resources focused on prevention, education, and care, balanced with fun, family-friendly experiences like face painting and line dancing, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you to Westerly Hills Academy, our incredible community partners, and featured speakers for helping make wellness accessible, engaging, and impactful.
