Did you know that kids who eat the colors of the rainbow on a daily basis will be in far better shape with their mental wellness than those that don’t?

( ps this was dinner last night and the kids ate it all up just like the adults did)

What happens around tour Thanksgiving table? Some experience the many peaceful and settling emotions of being around their loved ones and find it so easy to experience the love and gratefulness that everyone speaks of around this time of year. πŸ¦ƒ πŸ™πŸ»

Isn’t it lovely to come β€œ home” to a place that gives you all the warm, fuzzy feelings that reminds you of being bundled up in front of the fire with a big warm blanket and a nice cup of hot chocolate while you peacefully gaze at the lights of the Christmas tree filling the room. πŸ₯° 🌲 πŸ”₯

Not everyone experiences those same wonderfully loving and safe emotions though when they are joined with family.

Is it tension that you feel because of a lifetime of disconnect? Is it disappointment because of emotional negligence that seems to continue even though you hope that maybe THIS time they will get it. Do you feel that you will just never measure up no matter what you do? 😌😣

You might be surprised to know your microbiome ( or your gut ) has the potential to make you healthy or keep you ill!
Your behavior ( diet, exercise, supplements, etc) shapes what happens in your gut and your gut then shapes your mental wellness ( or lack thereof ).

Taking your prebiotics, probiotics and phytobiotics ( plant compounds ) increases the beneficial microorganisms in your gut. This in turn shapes the healthy balance in your gut and ends up reducing our mental health struggles by improving anxiety, depression, irritability, moodiness, focus and brain fog ( to name just a few).

Eat plenty of colors in your diet every single day and get outside to move your body!!

Eating the colors of the rainbow … crazy easy or crazy hard for you??

Your current diet of simply restricting all kinds of food isn’t actually making your mind and body feel better! Your body needs food.

We shouldn’t be restricting food groups but we should be eating as many colors as possible in a day ( and not from added colors which are detrimental to your health). Think about lean proteins, healthy fats and getting enough fiber too!

Decide the next thing you pick up today will be full of natural color!

Your gut microbiome ( the bacteria in your gut) and your mental health ( feelings of calm and clarity) will thank you!

Hello all my name is Megan Johnson and I am so glad you have made it to this page! I wanted to give an introduction to what this page was created for. I will focus on helping you understand the value in a healthy gut and how having a balanced microbiome creates mental wellness and stability.

I have partnered with THE Mental Wellness Company (Amare Global) to be able to bring you gut boosting supplements to balance your mental health. I am beyond ecstatic to be able to add this tool to the toolkit!! I use many of the products myself as well as my family, friends and patients from my counseling practice. Know there ARE things you can do if you struggle with ANXIETY!

I hope you can use just one of these three tips today to help let go of you anxieties.

1. Fact vs feeling. Is it a fact that someone going to be mad at you or does it just feel like it?
2. Are you able to see outside of your own perspective and know that others may see things entirely different than you do?
3. If you go over it and over it in your head it still doesn’t change anything and it’s definitely not helpful, so do your best to set it aside.

Go out and tackle your day and face those anxieties using one of these tips. πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
