I am so grateful for my BODi Accountability Partnering Business Opportunity. It’s afforded me MORE than just a daily shake, MORE than just an online exercise platform. It’s given me a voice and a way to help others. It’s given me a way to feel more confident so that I can grow as a leader. It’s given me a positive, uplifting FAMILY of colleagues that I used to only dream about having someday.

And, yes, it’s also helped me travel. It’s helped me to pay down debt. It’s helped ME learn how to eat healthier and make exercise a part of my daily habits. BODi has been a life saver for me. Have you missed my posts this week? I am looking for those of you who have gut health issues! This one is for you 😉 Accountability groups can be a highly effective way to stay motivated and on track with you fitness goals. Here's why they can be beneficial:

1. Support and Encouragement: Being part of a group provides a built-in support system. You can share your successes, challenges, and progress with others who understand your journey, and they can offer encouragement and advice.

2. Healthy Competition: Friendly competition within a group can push you to work harder and achieve better results. You might find yourself trying to keep up with others in the group, driving you to improve.

3. Structured Workouts: Many fitness accountability groups follow structured workout plans or programs together. This ensures that you have a clear fitness routine to follow.

4. Accountability: Knowing that others are expecting you to show up for a workout or check-in can be a powerful motivator. You're less likely to skip workouts when you're accountable to a group.

5. Variety and Fun: Group workouts can be enjoyable and add variety to your fitness routine. It can make exercising more fun and social.

6. Access to Expertise: Some groups are led by fitness experts or trainers who can provide guidance and answer questions about workouts, nutruition, and overall wellness.

Have you always given up on yourself?

Let me rephrase that. You are an amazing mom. You are an amazing wife (girlfriend, fiance). You are an amazing daughter. You are an amaing friend. You do all the things for everyone else, and follow through on all the things you say you will do - for THEM.

When was the last time you did that for YOURSELF?

When was the last time you treated yourself like you would your best friend, your mom, your child?
smoking, to eat healthier foods, to drink more water, to go back to school. You start, ALL excited. Then what happens? You become a serial quitter.

That was ME!

For 50 years, almost every promise I made to myself, I broke - or pushed off so that I would miss several deadline dates that I set. It was disheartening. If you can't trust yourself, who CAN you trust?!?!

So, what changed when I was 50? Great question! EVERYTHING!

I found this gut health program and felt amazing after doing it. Then, I found out I had diverticulitis, in the worst possible manner. I was so thankful that I already had the tools to maintain a healthy gut - BUT, like always, reverted to my serial quitter ways.... UGH!

Fast forward to August 1, 2023. The creator of the very same amazing gut health program released a corresponding cookbook. Well, THAT lit a fire under my t**h! I bought it the moment it hit my website!!!! I have made a new recipe EVERY single day since receiving that cookbook in the mail 👏

Is the biggest ability you need accountability?

Are you struggling to stay on track with your health goals? It's easy to make excuses or fall off the wagon, but it's important to hold yourself accountable for your well-being. Take ownership of your health journey and commit to making positive changes for yourself.

One way to stay accountable is to set specific, measurable goals. Don't just say you want to "get healthier," but define what that means for you. Maybe it's running a 5K, drinking more water, or reducing your sugar intake. Whatever it is, write it down and track your progress.

Another way to stay accountable is to find an accountability group of like-minded women. This could consist of friends, family members, or even be an online community who shares your goals and can offer encouragement and motivation. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Remember, accountability isn't about being perfect. It's about taking responsibility for your choices and making an effort to improve your health. Celebrate your successes along the way and learn from your mistakes.

What you see is what you get!

Right?

Not always....

The point to a "diet" or an exercise program is usually to lose weight. Not always, but usually. You want to get into "ONEderland" (199 or under). You want to hit a certain goal on the scale. You want to get back to pre-baby weight, or the weight you were in high school.

Can I drop a truth bomb 💣on you? THE SCALE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!!!!!!

It is ONE unit of measure. Especially for women, the scale can actually LIE to us. We retain water. We are NOT regular with our bathroom habits. And, let's be real, we tend to CRAVE the unhealthy for a night during that time of month (or is that just me 👋)

For instance, our gut is considered our second brain. It "controls" so many different secondary functions. It doesn't control our skin, but helps with it. It doesn't control our sleep, but helps with it. It doesn't control our digestive system, but helps with it. Catch where I'm going with that?

What you CANNOT see, is that with some "diet" and exercise routines, what you GAIN is so much more important. With this program, I have gained:

⭐More solid sleep
⭐Feeling rested in the morning
⭐More energy throughout the day
⭐Eating better, by choice
⭐Less snacking
⭐Better digestion
⭐Less time in the restroom
⭐Clearer skin

I have only LOST 1 pound in between these pictures. However, what I have gained is worth everything!

Not always....

I know that I do!

We are challenged every day. Aren't we?!? Our patience. Our kindness. Our happiness. Our limits.

When was the last time that you were challenged to something that actually BENEFITED you? Something that was actually good for your health? Hmmm...

I know. You've heard it ALL before 😉 You are SO sick and tired of hearing it!

I get it! I was, too - until I did it. And I challenged myself again this month because I loved it so much! I realized that THIS is what my life needed to look like going forward.

If you are like me...
👍You have spent a LONG time and a LOT of money to earn a graduate degree
👍You have spent a lot of years in the corporate world, trying to get to a certain level
👍You make good, if not comfortable, living
👍You have bills that need to be paid with a steady paycheck
👍You are afraid to veer from the path of "this is the way it's always been done"

If you check any, or all, of these items, congratulations! Just because you've followed all the "rules" that we've been told to do all our lives does not mean that we can't aspire to more!

Let your degree(s) benefit YOU in your journey to make more money and build something you never thought you could legitimately dream of! You can build your dreams while keeping the stability you currently have. Changing old patterns begins with one decision! Will it be yours?

Imagine this...
One minute, you're at a backyard BBQ. The next, somehow, you're now walking down the corridor of your high school, NAKED! You don't have enough hands to cover yourself as everyone just stands at their lockers, points, and starts to whisper and giggle. You're panicking, starting to sweat, and you just run.

You wake up, and your bed sheets are just wrapped around your legs from running! WORST. DREAM. EVER! Am I right?!

Is that the kind of fear you have when you think about having to post if you start a Direct Sales business? It was for me! I was terrified! I don't like people looking at me. I don't think people care what I have to say. Who am I anyway?

Then I thought about it. I get on social and talk about my favorite movie. I get on here and talk about my favorite restaurant. I get on here and rave about great (or bad) customer service I received from whatever company. Why would sharing something I really believe in with others be any different? It's not!

You don't even have Instagram. Don't EVEN get you started on that Tiktok! You could NEVER do a direct sales business because you just don't know enough people!

You've got kids, and THEY are busy! Maybe you have young bumpkins and they are gone with you all day. You have to keep them occupied, and that's a lot of work!

Maybe your kids are a little older and do a half day in kindergarten. You have them in Little League. Maybe dance or gymnastics. Maybe peewee football.

Maybe your kids are older. Then you're dealing with the extra-curricular activities, and school dances, and "mom, school bake event is tomorrow!", and sleepovers. You're dealing with teen and pre-teen angst, and THAT'S a horror movie all unto itself 🤣

Ok... when do you do for YOU? When do you create something for you - friends, purpose, community? When do you feel fulfilled?

It took me a LONG time to understand that I was a better mother when I was doing something that truly made me happy, when I felt I had purpose. I didn't find that purpose until I found something I could share with others that could truly be life changing! And it doesn't take up ALL my time!

Your alarm goes off at 6am every day, Monday through Friday. You make coffee. You take a shower. You do your hair, make up, brush your teeth, get dressed, maybe check your email while having that cup of coffee, and grab something quick to eat JUST before you run out the door.

You spill some coffee on your blouse as you put your armful of stuff you've got to lug back and forth to work into your front seat. You sit in morning rush hour traffic, all while listening to the morning radio show spew their opinions about current events.

Then... you work 8 to 10 hours a day - for someone else. Their schedule. Their rules. Their company. Their bottom line.

I get it! You're tired. You're frustrated. You're sick and tired of being sick and tired! Am I right? I've been THAT person for 35 years. I'm ready to change it. Are you?

I work during the pockets of time throughout my day to build something for me, for my future, for my family's future. Yes, it's work. BUT, if I'm willing to put in SO much effort for someone else, why not for myself and for my family?

What do you do with your pockets?

Imagine if, in pockets of time throughout your day, you could earn enough money for a weekly tank of gas. Imagine that turning into your weekly grocery trip. Imagine that turning into your monthly mortgage.

Yes. It IS possible! In pockets of time throughout your day. In between conference meetings, on a ten minute break. In the car, at the school pick-up line. In the bleachers, during practice.
