Spirit Animals

I highly recommend working with animals in your spiritual and healing journeys.

Shamans have animals that represent the directions.

Animal messages...when I see an animal I often ponder what does this animal mean to me?

Animal Medicine is another term that I often see, for example Owl Medicine and understanding what you can learn from the owl.

Mission Animals, an animal that represents the phase or place that you are in right now. For me it is often about how I need to move in the world. For example, a deer, they know how to walk gently.

Perhaps you have an animal that you've been drawn to your entire life, there might be a good reason.

Am I alone in this or is being alone my own fault?

See my go to emotion is abandonment and well I've been known to be the worst offender by abandoning myself.

Last year, I felt really alone and well I was disappointed and felt like I did not really matter. This is when I wish people could read my mind and know what I need.

Instead of becoming sad and angry, I did something. I asked for what I wanted and needed from my closest circle. Letting people know I needed support made all of the difference.

So proud of myself for communicating what is one of the hardest things for me to ask for...help and support.

Most of the healing happens where we cannot see with our eyes. There are mental, emotional and spiritual aspects to healing.

I started taking classes involving healing in an effort to understand and test out if this stuff was real. It is, 7 years later I'm still convinced that this is the missing piece to understanding how we feel and what can be done to help.

Trusting when you can't feel the magic...

My oh my, this summer was a tough one as one of my favorite activities is having a magical day lead by intuition. Where to go, what to do and almost always a surprise for me somewhere.

This year, June to November, its like things went silent. I started questioning everything. I wondered what I was doing wrong. Where did everyone on my spirit team go?

When there is a dark night of the soul, a lesson, a storm sometimes it is hard to hold on to the path or what you know to be true. And this is why I heard lean into the storm.

Lean into the storm means I stand firm knowing what I know to be true but also using my resources and trusted friends to help me do so. It can be hard to see what we need to during these times.
