We are getting back on track with our regularly scheduled posting, but being busy with full books does mean that our availability is dwindling!

[Perinatal Care in the Final Stretch] Pregnancy invites transformation through every layer of the body & nowhere is that more evident than in the hips. When we’re working with a mama deep into her journey, we aim to gently mobilize the hips, release tension through the low back, & create spaciousness in the pelvis, all while honoring the incredible shifts unfolding throughout her entire body

As the hormone relaxin begins to surge, the joints soften in preparation for birth, but this softening doesn’t always mean everything feels easier… Many women feel more tension as the muscles begin working overtime to stabilize these shifting structures. The sacrum, coccyx, glutes, pelvic floor & hip flexors may all start asking for support

During our prenatal sessions, we work with extreme care & reverence; opening space around the sacrum, gently decompressing the hips, & supporting pelvic alignment to encourage not only a smooth birth experience, but also a more gentle postpartum recovery
