with CARF International at the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association conference opening presentation to share inspiring rehabilitation experiences from our patients. In a panel discussion format, Carolinas Rehabilitation’s team spoke about how CARF ‎accreditation standards have contributed to improve the care of our patients from various specialty rehabilitation programs.‎

This week, leaders from across Atrium Health gathered for our 2024 Annual Carolinas Rehabilitation Network Consortium. In a collaborative effort, rehabilitation leaders from across our organization, including: Carolinas Rehabilitation in the Charlotte market; Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center Rehabilitation; Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Rehabilitation; High Point Medical Center Rehabilitation; Atrium Health Global Health and Hospital @ Home including inpatient, outpatient, and acute care rehabilitation all came together. They are making connections to learn and share best practices and innovations, all to create the best patient experience and outcomes. Our #1 goal: Restoring quality to life.

This week, Carolina Panthers football player, Chandler Zavala, Guard, took time out of his busy training schedule to share joy with our patients and teammates at Carolinas Rehabilitation Charlotte. His presence inspired many to rise from their wheelchairs and to keep pushing forward! His visit brightened everyone's spirit!

Now serving as a dedicated volunteer to CR’s Trauma Survivor Network and peer mentor to current patients, Jessi’s enthusiasm and inspiring words continue to uplift others.
