What happens when 2025 isn’t starting how you hoped? Let’s place a little focus on understanding the Stages of Grief.

Not every year begins the way we envision, and that can bring feelings of disappointment, frustration, or even grief. If you’re feeling this way, you’re not alone. Let’s talk about the Stages of Grief and how they can apply to unmet expectations:

1. Denial – “This can’t be how my year is starting.”
You might feel shocked or stuck, refusing to accept things as they are. Give yourself time to process and adjust.
2. Anger – “Why is this happening to me?”
Frustration can bubble up as you think about what should have been. It’s okay to feel this way—acknowledge your emotions without judgment.
3. Bargaining – “Maybe if I do this, things will change…”
You may find yourself negotiating with reality, trying to regain control. Remember, it’s okay to feel uncertain, but don’t stay stuck here.
4. Depression – “Nothing is going right.”
Sadness or hopelessness might take over as you grieve the loss of what you envisioned. Be gentle with yourself—seek support when you need it.
5. Acceptance – “It’s not what I wanted, but I can still move forward.”
Acceptance doesn’t mean you’re okay with everything, but it allows you to embrace what is and take steps to make the best of your situation.

💡 Grief isn’t linear, and you might move back and forth between these stages. What’s important is giving yourself grace as you navigate your feelings and set intentions to move forward.

✨ Remember: A slow start doesn’t mean the year is ruined. It’s just the beginning, and there’s so much time for things to shift and align in your favor.

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day—a day to raise awareness and save lives. 💛

Did you know that over 700,000 people die by su***de every year? But su***de is preventable, and by recognizing the warning signs and offering support, we can make a difference. 🌟

⚠️ Warning signs to look out for:

• Withdrawing from loved ones
• Expressing hopelessness
• Talking about wanting to die or harm themselves

How you can help:

• Reach out to those who may be struggling. Start a conversation.
• Listen without judgment.
• Encourage them to seek professional help.

You are NOT alone. Asking for help is a sign of strength, and support is always available. 💬

If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out to the National Su***de Prevention Lifeline at 988.

Together, let’s break the stigma, raise awareness, and save lives. 💪💙

Just spent a beautiful morning by the lake, soaking up the sun and enjoying some well-deserved self-care. I brought along my favorite relaxing tunes (Cleo Sol), some refreshing water, and a word search puzzle to keep my mind engaged and relaxed. 🌞✨

Taking time to unwind in nature is so rejuvenating. It’s a reminder that self-care doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. Just grab a few things that make you happy and head outdoors to get your dose of vitamin D. Your mind and body will thank you! 🌿🧘‍♀️

I encourage everyone to find a local spot and carve out some “me time” this week. Share your favorite low-cost self-care activities below!
