Ten years ago, I signed in for my very first shift as a doctor during my internal medicine intern year- NIGHT FLOAT no less! I’ll never forget the first time I got a page about chest pain that first night…cue the panic!!! (Turns out it was NBD that time)
I’m so thankful for everyone who helped me get here—especially my husband who moved across the pond (🇬🇧 —> 🇺🇸) to support me through med school, residency, and the ongoing chaos of family life.
To my patients: you’re why I keep showing up. Thank you for trusting me with your stories, your skin, and your care. Before medical school, I didn’t really understand why people said it was a “privilege” to care for others. It didn’t take long for me to figure it out… and it is absolutely true.
Dermatology is my dream job. Here’s to the next decade of learning, layering new knowledge into my work, and dreaming!💗
Honorable mention to and . “Timber” got me through innumerable early mornings and late nights throughout med school and residency.
