This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful for the courage, dedication and sacrifice of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy each day. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the veterans, military families and loved ones whose service and support continue to inspire us.

As we gather with residents, family and friends this weekend, may we take a moment to reflect, remember and honor those who served our nation with extraordinary bravery.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this month’s AGING BOLDLY at The Village on Morehead featuring the incredible Ramona Holloway. 💙

We thoroughly enjoyed Ramona’s inspiring presentation, “Navigating Change. Embracing Opportunity,” as she candidly shared her personal journey with both laughter and tears. Her authenticity, resilience and optimism made for a truly meaningful and memorable experience.

We love bringing together thought-provoking programs that inspire conversation and connection, and we’d love to hear from you! If you have ideas for future AGING BOLDLY topics or speakers, please share them with us.

As shared during the event, The Village on Morehead will be making a donation to support Ramona’s Walk Team for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We’d also like to encourage our community to join us in supporting this important cause. To help Ramona reach her goal of raising $5,000 to advance the fight against Alzheimer’s, we will match donations dollar for dollar up to $500. Together, we can help her achieve 20% of her fundraising goal!

Guests enjoyed an engaging and thoughtful discussion on “Navigating Change. Embracing Opportunity.” as Ramona shared her unique perspective, personal experiences and words of encouragement around embracing life’s transitions with confidence and purpose.
