Got out today with Honor The Warriors for an awesome bike ride, probably 3x more the number from the last time I joined their annual ride through Charlotte in 2021. The highlight was the amazing kids and staff at First Ward Creative Arts Academy, shout out to them for welcoming us in, giving a performance, and thanking us, asking questions and just chatting.

October is National Dental Hygiene Month, and dental care is particularly important—and particularly challenging—for seniors.

In addition to other challenges, dehydration is fairly common in seniors and raises their risk of cavities and other dental issues. Here's what we recommend to for healthier smiles:

🦷 Add a little flavor to water doesn't diminish the health benefits of hydration. Try a powder they like or a splash of juice.
🦷 Get them specialized lozenges that address dry mouth, available at most pharmacies.
🦷 Pick up a water bottle with a repositionable straw to make hydrating easier.
