Greetings from the front line. We want to let everyone know that all of us at The Art of Medicine are well. We are open for business with some minor modifications and all the necessary precautions for you and for us. We have expanded our ability to manage medical problems by phone. We feel the office is a very safe place to come but we do request a call before you come to the office so we can manage this safe place plan. If you are ill with the much dreaded fever and cough call us and we will help you through this or any illness. The best way to contact us is through the patient fusion portal. You can also send us messages straight from our web site through the Patient Pop portal or at artofmedicinedirect.gmail.com. This a new experience that changes by the dayl so more post will be coming over time to keep you up to date. stay safe stay healthy.

Nice explanation. It does not matter to me who you are, whether you have a particular insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, or no third party to pay your medical bills. You do not need a credit check, a wallet biopsy, or a roof over your head. It does not matter where you were born or who your parents are. Your race, creed or social status makes no difference to us. If you are a human being and can afford around the cost of your phone plan, if you desire health and wellness to live a good full life, we can develop a long term relationship to do the best we can to achieve that goal.

Affordable care, better patient experiences, better patient outcomes, and physician well-being: the quadruple aim. And this is exactly what direct primary care provides.

I have seen some interesting news stories recently about transparency in medical care pricing. Although mandated by law hospitals struggle to provide this information. It remains nearly impossible it get a clear answer about how much any particular service will cost you, the patient. That's because to most hospitals and offices, you are not the actual customer, the insurance company or government is, and they all have contracted differently with both you and the provider. Often they really don't know what the cost will be until after they have gone through the filing process. This can apply to pharmacies as well. At the Art of Medicine Direct, we can tell you exactly what our services cost and there will be no surprises. Because, you and only you are the customer and patient. We care about all aspects of your health and wellbeing, including how much it costs you.

Check out # 4! Thanks Consumer reports. Dr. Cardwell and I believe whole heartedly in the DPC model. We know it saves our patients money, but what we like most is the quality it brings to health care. Cost savings plus high quality equals value. We enjoy practicing medicine and do not liked to be rushed. We know for a fact patients do not like to be rushed. DPC allows us to spend the time necessary to listen to our patients, answer all of their questions,and help guide them through the complicated health care system. Are DPC doctors better doctors? Of course we would like to think so, but the real difference is the combination of taking time and truely listening. It is our patients that make us better doctors. Isn't it time for a better health care experience? Looks like Consumer reports thinks so.
