Shanti Yoga One Shanti Yoga One.Is a space to share with others my love for yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Shanti!! I’ve been practicing yoga for many years.

I decided to take my love for yoga to the next level. In October 2019, I started my journey towards the completion of 200 Yoga Teacher Training. It’s official RYT-200!!!ASE!!!I teach Yoga, Meditation, and other services are also offered at Shanti Yoga & Wellness LLC. In addition, I’m a Yoga 12 Step Recovery Leader, Reiki II Practitioner, Life Coach and Professional Counselor. My educational background I’m a Professional Counselor. Yoga/Meditation is such a jewel for me I knew that it needed to be shared in the community I serve. Initially, I started out for the love of yoga/meditation. Later, my journey led me to starting my own business. As a teacher I’d like to see each student come in ready to practice on his or her mat. My classes are for beginners, intermediate or advance students. YOGA is for everyBODY. All ages are welcome. Shanti Yoga & Wellness LLC. will create the space each student needs for his or her own flow without judgment. Overall, the practice of yoga has changed my mindset giving me the Shanti flow that was missing. When you are ready space will be reserved for you on the mat. Namaste

Happy Saturday!! Be GREAT!! Lighten your heart and let go of what no longer serves you. ✌🏽The fourth chakra referred to as heart chakra. Sanskrit word Anahata means unstuck or unhurt. Which implies beneath any hurt, pain, grief of past/present lies a pure place where no pain exists.🙌🏾

Happy Warrior Wednesday! 💪 Remember, falling doesn’t mean you’ve failed. I practice daily and still experience falls. It takes time for my body to warm up, and when it says no, I modify. Keep in mind that reaching your goals takes time, and obstacles will arise but won't last forever. 🧘🏽‍♀️✨💚🤪

MindFUL Monday embrace this day with a smile. One of many highlights this summer was introducing kids to yoga. A wonderful experience kids yoga, this is my second year being apart of this Community Engagement for Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office teaching Yoga at Summer Camp. Before our class started a young boy asked, “ Are we going to meditate?’ Wow, that warmed my heart. I replied, “Yes, we will.” He smiled, giggled softly and was a champion at cleansing breathe work. One of my most memorable memories. Yoga in a nutshell is slowing down and This pic is one of the beautiful groups that participated in Yoga. It’s amazing to watch each child come to the mat with uncertainty but leave the mat with confidence.

Transformation Tuesday!! Over the years me wearing a two-piece & being PEACE. My daily regimen might not be the same as yours. This is my way of LIFE. No quick fix, no nips/tucks, no BBL( lil booty😂), no implants. I workout to be healthier and live longer. Its a bonus to physically be fit over 50. If you know me, it’s not a FAD, it’s not because it popular, it’s not because I’m going on vacation, it’s not for a cute pic, it’s not to fit in an outfit, and it’s not because an event is coming up. This is the way I LIVE!! 🧘🏾‍♀️MIND, BODY & SOUL connection, always!!
