Introducing: “Your Zen Birth Doula” Britney Smith

After giving birth to four children, two hospital births and two unassisted home births, I became passionate about comforting and informing moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum period. My experiences gave me an insight on how much birth has become over complicated and made out to be a scary, chaotic, medical emergency when it doesn’t always have to be.

Using a holistic approach, my mission is to encourage women to tap into their own intuition during the birthing process. Creating a zen and stress free atmosphere, I demonstrate techniques on how to manage discomfort and/or anxieties before and during labor so that wherever a woman chooses to give birth she will be well equipped. In addition, I provide postpartum care such as lactation support, belly binding, and much more.

I would like to introduce doula services.I started this journey because God saw fit for me to be placed here. I had a rainbow baby 13yrs ago and I was on pins and needles. I did not get to enjoy being pregnant. doula sevices allows you to live in the moment. I offer prenatal visits, postnatal visits for mother and spouse, breastfeeding counseling and placenta encapsulation specializing in rainbow babies and after life care. My mission is to ease mothers fears and worries through information resources and providing compassion physical and emotional support to mothers and partners during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.
