A quick guide to activating, setting intentions with, and caring for your crystals.

Peace Divine Family,

A lot of people buy crystals and then... put them on a shelf.
Which is fine. They’re beautiful. But you’re leaving most of the value on the table.
Working with a crystal is different from owning one. Here’s the short version of how to do it:

1. Cleanse it first. Before you work with any new crystal, clear whatever energy it picked up before it got to you. You can do this by placing it in moonlight overnight, using sound (a singing bowl or even a few minutes of music), or holding it under cool running water (check first — some stones are water-sensitive).

2. Set an intention. Hold the stone in both hands. Get quiet. State — out loud or internally — what you’re working with this stone for. Be specific. ‘I am calling in clarity around my next business decision’ is more powerful than ‘good vibes only.’ Intention is the whole engine.

3. Keep it close. Wear it, carry it in your pocket, place it on your desk or nightstand. Proximity matters. The work happens through consistent contact, not just during a ritual.

4. Recleanse regularly. Especially if you’re going through a heavy season. Crystals absorb energy. Monthly cleansing under the full moon is the simplest practice.

Let me ask you something.

Reiki isn’t mystical performance. It’s a practical tool for clearing what you’ve been carrying.

Let’s talk about Reiki — because there’s a lot of noise around it and not enough clarity.

Reiki is not a performance. It’s not someone waving their hands over you and declaring you healed. It’s not religious. It doesn’t require you to believe in anything in particular before it works.
What it is: a gentle, hands-on (or hands-near) energy healing practice that works with the body’s natural energy field. The goal is to clear blockages — the places where stress, grief, old patterns, and unprocessed emotion tend to get stored. Because your body keeps score.
