Happy Birthday to my fun and full of life angel boy.

I could write a book about all the things I love about this kid but I’ll only share a few.

I love your obsession with legos and superheroes.

I love how curious you are about everything and ask such inquisitive questions. I love your dance moves after you win a game of Uno or just because you’re avoiding eating dinner.

I love how you make me laugh with your humor, facial expressions and infectious laughter. I especially love your gentle and sensitive heart for others and the Lord.

Your endless energy keeps me tired (lol), but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Keep laughing, keep dancing, and maintain your love for life and learning. Love you so big, baby boy.

This week, like life itself, is filled with new beginnings and goodbyes. My sweet boy just graduated from Kindergarten! 🥹 We couldn’t be prouder of his hard work and achievements. A big congratulations to everyone wrapping up their school year this week and next. 🙌🏻

Hi friends!

My son’s school is partnering with relief efforts from Hurricane Helene with First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. They are collecting needed supplies for those who are suffering.

The address is 732 Indian Trail Fairview Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079

They will be collecting these supplies this week in their parking lot. The church has a Ryder box truck parked in the lot near the sanctuary for these supplies.

Someone will be manning that truck from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. through Friday for now.
The supplies they are collecting are as follows:

Non-perishable food
Water bottles
Blankets
Diapers
Baby Formula
Contractor trash bags

If you can’t drop off at this location, you could go to ’s recent post with a slew of other drop off locations and resources.

Until this very moment, I’ve been proud to carry Absorb as a solo practitioner. That being said, a recent opportunity presented itself in the form of this gem right here.

Meet Fran.

My relationship with Fran goes back many years and it has been a joy watching her grow into one of Charlotte’s finest estheticians. I am proud to announce that Absorb is now onboarding Fran as its first official team member. Not only will this allow Absorb to accommodate clients everyday of the week including every Saturday of each month, but (as you will read below), this will also introduce a new service to our menu!

Fran specializes in customized facials, sugaring, waxing, as well as other skin treatments! In 2019 after getting her esthetics license at the Aveda Institute of Hammond in Louisiana, and working in Baton Rouge as a sugarist, she transplanted to Charlotte to be with her now-husband, Matt. While in Charlotte, she has honed her skills in custom facials while being able to treat and deliver results to her clients with the correct at-home skincare regimen as well as regular custom facial treatments.

After working as a sugarist for 2 years and growing her expertise, she decided to become a sugaring educator with Keko Botanicals! She has now been educating for 5 years and loves empowering other estheticians to challenge themselves in new techniques and talents. Sugaring will always be a passion of hers as well as being able to show more people the benefits of it!

Fran says the best part of her job is that she genuinely loves to come to work every day, see her clients, meet new faces and help people meet their skincare goals!

Hi! Welcome to my page (or welcome to absorb!) I’m so excited you found me.
I want to introduce myself to my new followers and reintroduce myself to the ones who have been with me for a while.

I graduated from the Aveda institute in Buckhead, GA in 2007 and I have been learning and growing in this beauty industry ever since. My passion is to help people through educating them about their skin and home care, specifically with a holistic approach. I believe in aging gracefully, and through constant research and continuing education certifications, I continue to find innovative and unique treatments to help you feel your very best. I truly believe I was made for this industry as it allows me to cultivate close and personal relationships with people from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life. I absolutely love it!

To give you a glimpse of me personally, I have a passion for human trafficking and have had the privilege throughout many years, to support and work with organizations that help to combat this awful industry.

When I’m not at work helping you to look and feel your best, here are a few other things I love doing:

Fitness, cooking, watching documentaries ( if you have any good recommendations, please let me know 😉), spending time with my family and friends and spending time with the one who has made all this possible for me, God.
