We’re excited to celebrate our ACT Team members, Molly and Tan, as they prepare to present at the upcoming i2i Conference in Raleigh, NC! 🎉

Their presentation, “Beyond Behavioral Health: Strengthening ACTT Through PCS Integration and Whole Person Care,” highlights the importance of integrated, person-centered approaches that support the whole individual through collaboration, innovation, and comprehensive care.

Lacey and Kriste are representing SPARC this week at the RCPAA Conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas!

We are excited for the opportunity to connect with providers and professionals from across the region, learn from industry leaders, and continue strengthening partnerships that support children, families, and communities. Conferences like these help us continue growing, collaborating, and bringing valuable knowledge back to the individuals and families we serve every day.

Northern Piedmont Intake Coordinator Gileah Black and FCT Specialist Andrea Vennable recently attended the Second Annual Resource Fair hosted by the Interactive Resource Center in Greensboro!

This was a great opportunity to connect with participants, community members, and local organizations while sharing information about the services SPARC provides to support children, families, and individuals in our communities. We are grateful for opportunities like this to build partnerships, increase awareness, and help connect people with valuable resources and support.

Shouting out Hannah Owens Barquero

Kriste Bryant, FCT Specialist from our Arkansas FCT Team shared the following feedback about Hannah:

Hannah is a FABULOUS practitioner. Not just in her approach to FCT or in the tenacity she has shown in pursuing her check-offs, but in the way she naturally connects, advocates, and engages with the stakeholders involved in the cases she serves.

She diligently sends weekly updates to stakeholders on each of her cases and remains responsive as needs arise between the family and providers. Her communication, consistency, and follow through have helped strengthen collaboration and trust across systems.

Additionally, Hannah does an incredible job facilitating Child and Family Team Meetings, regardless of the size or complexity of the team involved. In a recent CFT, she had 5 stakeholders and 5 family members attend AFTER 5pm. That level of engagement does not happen by accident. It reflects the relationships she has built and the intentionality she brings into this work.
Because of Hannah’s dedication to stakeholder engagement, families are not only accessing needed supports and resources, but stakeholders are also remaining focused on family strengths and collaborative ownership of concerns instead of the responsibility for change being placed solely on the family.
She demonstrates Value #5 through maintaining excellent customer service, while also naturally reflecting Values #1, #2, #3, and #4 in the way she approaches families, stakeholders, and teamwork.

One additional thing that stands out is Hannah’s commitment to transparency. She documents meeting minutes live during CFTs where stakeholders and families are able to contribute, view, and collaborate in real time. This not only represents Value #6, but also aligns beautifully with the FCT Guarantee of transparency.
Hannah brings such a unique, open, and loving spirit into the work she does. She is an incredible asset to her families, her team, and SPARC as a whole.

We are SO thankful for the work she does and the way she represents SPARC each day. 💙
