Dr. Fodel and Dr. Roland founded Synergy Chiropractic & Acupuncture to provide people with safe, natural, and effective ways to manage their health without drugs or surgery. They developed a setting where they could spend time with their patients to identify the cause of the problem, and not simply address the symptoms. It has always been important for the doctors to encourage their patients to be active participants in their care, and not just recipients. This empowers our patients to lead a healthier lifestyle beyond the time they spend at the office, with the ultimate goal of achieving wellness. Our clinic offers the highest quality Chiropractic and Traditional Chinese Medicine services to treat a variety of conditions from back pain and sports injuries to insomnia and weight management. Chiropractic services include chiropractic spinal and extremity adjustments, muscle release techniques, functional rehab exercise, physiotherapies including therapeutic ultrasound and electric muscle stimulation, low level laser (aka "cold laser") treatments, flexion-distraction therapy, McKenzie Method® treatment, custom orthotic shoe inserts, Kinesio Taping®, and more. Traditional Chinese Medicine services include acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, and bodywork techniques including Chinese massage and cupping. Nutritional examinations, whole food based supplements, and vitamin therapy counseling is also a large part of our practice and has been very effective for sustained weight loss and helping our patients to eliminate many different types of medications.

Buckwheat noodle stir fry:

Marinate boneless skinless chicken thighs in just enough of the soy free teriyaki sauce to coat them. Marinate for several hours. Then grill.

Trim ends of 2lbs of green beans and cut in half. Spray with avocado oil, season with salt and pepper and roast at convection 425° or conventional 450° for 30 minutes.

Cook buckwheat noodles per package instructions- about 6 minutes.

While noodles are being rinsed, add 1tsp sesame oil and 2tsp avocado oil to the hot pot used to cook the noodles. Sautée 1tbsp minced garlic for 1 minute, stirring continuously.

Then add remainder of the bottle of teriyaki sauce to the pot with 1tbsp arrowroot powder to thicken. Bring to a boil.

Add roasted green beans, 1 can water chestnuts, grilled chopped chicken and rinsed noodles. Stir to coat. Serve with toasted sesame seeds.
