Our Wine Dinner celebrating The Elements was a beautiful evening centered around seasonal flavor, thoughtful pairings, and the people who make experiences like this so special.

Each course was inspired by earth, air, fire, and water—and reflected beautifully in dishes like maple pork belly-wrapped dates, diver scallops, crab manicotti, and Chicken Wellington. Dessert, Un Brin De Maïs, was a light and creative finale to a flavorful night.

Wines were paired by Empire Distributors, Inc., with each selection chosen to highlight the unique flavors of the evening. Their thoughtful guidance added another layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.

A sincere thank you to Kevin Tabor and Hayden Gurley for sharing their expertise and helping bring the evening to life through wine.

To Chef James Joyce—your creativity, consistency, and care continue to shine through each menu you create. And to Kris Hilton, Michelle Doggett, and Brayden Conley—your warmth and attention to detail made the evening feel relaxed, welcoming, and complete.

Last Tuesday, we gathered for a charming Garden Tea Party in the Community Hall. With delicious bites from Chef James and plenty of smiles, it was the perfect afternoon to connect and unwind.

We were thrilled to welcome Catherine Jenkins, The Cypress of Charlotte, LLC, and Caitlin Mylly, Administrator of The Stewart Health Center. The afternoon buzzed with lively conversation, new friendships blossomed, and that special sense of belonging we cherish here. 💙

At The Cypress of Charlotte, the joy of connection is at the heart of everything we do—and our Pen Pal Club is a perfect reflection of that.

What started as a simple exchange of handwritten letters blossomed into lasting friendships, culminating in a heartfelt meet-and-greet where pen pals came together for the very first time. It was a beautiful reminder that meaningful connections can be made across generations, one letter at a time.
