The 2016 McGill Family Reunion is fast approaching!
"It's A Family Affair" (our theme) will be held Memorial Day weekend Friday, May 27, 2016 thru Sunday, May 29, 2016.

If you need hotel accommodations, please book your room(s) by April 28th to obtain the special group rate of $99.00 per night at the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel; phone # 704-357-1414.
Just mention McGill Family Reunion when booking the room.

Reunion dues should be submitted by May 1, 2016.
Orders for T-Shirts & Hats should be placed by May 1st also.

Friday & Saturday's "AFFAIR" will be held at the Dorothy Doores Waddy Pavilion (which is a new name for the facility used at the 2014 reunion) located at 3132 Manchester Dr, Charlotte NC 28217.

Sunday's "AFFAIR" will be held at McClintock Presbyterian Church, 14008 Erwin Rd, Charlotte NC 28273.

Details about all the "AFFAIR" festivities, dues, etc. were recently mailed to family members however if you need more information let us know.

We are looking forward to an awesome celebration with great food, wonderful fellowship, ball games, historical displays and more. Just good hearted fun for everyone! IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR!!!

The 2014 McGill Family Reunion is just around the corner folks!
The celebration starts Memorial Day weekend - Friday, May 23rd through Sunday, May 25, 2014. A newsletter containing lots of information regarding this year's event was mailed to family members recently. Here's an overview of the plans.

Friday Nite, May 23 - 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM "Get To Gather"
Place: Clanton Pavilion located in the Clanton Park Community
Theme: Favorite Sports Team Attire or Alumni Attire
(So dress to impress by showing off your spirit for your favorite team or alumni)
A "DJ" will be onsite along with other exciting activities

Saturday, May 24 - Noon to 5:00 PM "THE Reunion"
Place: Clanton Pavilion
Catered Lunch (really good food y'all)
Come prepared to Eat, Meet, Play, Fellowship & just plain ole have fun!

Sunday, May 25 - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Church Service
Place: McClintock Presbyterian Church
Sunday morning worship service
A special gathering at the cemetery following worship service

DUES are to be paid by Friday May 16, 2014:
Children ages 5 & under - FREE
Children ages 6-12 - $15.00
Seniors & Others - $50.00

Souvenir Hats: $8.00
Souvenir T-Shirts: $10.00

Family Recognition:
Let us know about family members who have made outstanding accomplishments since our last 2012 reunion; as a family we want to give honorable mention to those family members.

We also want to recognize family members who have graduated from high school, college, medical school, law, etc. since the last 2012 reunion as well as individuals who will graduate this year (2014) from high school, colleges/universities.

Recognition information is needed by May 16, 2014.

A Commemorative Booklet is also in the works to showcase the lives of the offspring of "The McGill Eight".

Friday, May 23, 2014 - The Venue is being explored and updates will be given later.

Saturday, May 24, 2014 - Festivities will be held at Clanton Pavilion / Clanton Park Community 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Lunch catered by Creative Catering

Sunday, May 25, 2014 - Morning Worship Service at McClintock Presbyterian Church / Gathering at Cemetery 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Dues for 2014
Children Ages 6-12 $15.00
Children Ages 5 and under FREE
Seniors & Others $50.00
