📖💫 Did you know Statesville was once known around the world for herbs? 🌿
Long before modern wellness stores existed, the Wallace Brothers Herbarium helped put our town on the map in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The Wallace brothers built one of the largest herb businesses in the country right here in Statesville, growing, drying, and shipping medicinal plants all across the United States and even internationally. At one point, thousands of pounds of herbs passed through our town, making Statesville an important part of herbal history.
That rich history and connection to natural wellness is one of the reasons we created Native Ceuticals Apothecary.
We are honored to have a small display in our apothecary where you can come learn more about the Wallace Brothers Herbarium and discover a special piece of the story of our town. 💚
