Our Story
Pediatric Urology Associates was started in 1998 by Dr. Jay Levy who had the dream of bringing his experience from the Mayo Clinic and Children’s Healthcare of Philadelphia (CHOP) to Charlotte. The practice grew over the next decade and in 2007 Dr. Joe Molitierno was recruited in order to bring the minimally invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques that he learned at UNC Chapel Hill and Emory back to Charlotte. And in 2018 Dr. Joe Fox joined Pediatric Urology Associates adding his experience and robotics to the armamentarium of techniques that we now offer to our patients. Additionally our Nocturnal Enuresis and Wetting Treatment (NEWT) clinic is the first of its kind clinic in the Carolinas, offering multi-modal treatment of voiding dysfunction and recurrent UTI’s.
Pediatric Urology Associates is the most experienced pediatric urology practice in the Carolinas with over 30 years of experience between the physicians and three mid-level providers. We accept most insurance and same day appointment are available.
