Milestone Therapy Inc provides in-home Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy Established in 2003, Milestone Therapy Inc.

began with one therapist, one client and one vision to provide the absolute best care to the children of our community. Today, we have over 70 therapists and serve the greater Charlotte region and all surrounding counties, including York and Lancaster, SC. Our therapists have countless years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in pediatrics. Our services are unique in that we have the capability to travel to our clients. We can provide services in your child’s home, daycare, preschool or school. We also have a clinic in uptown Charlotte if that is more desirable for your schedule and/ or needs. We accept all types of insurance and will file claims on your behalf.

What exactly is Occupational Therapy (OT)?
Occupational therapy includes all the activities that occupy people’s time and give meaning to their daily lives. For young children, these activities can be as small as tying a shoe, or playing catch.

Pediatric Occupational Therapists assess and treat:
🤎 Sensory processing disorders.
❤️Improve upper extremity muscle strength, endurance, range of motion, coordination, fine motor abilities and function.
🧡 Address and treat visual motor integration disorders.
💛 Address self-care skills.
💚 Work on social and peer interaction skills.
💙 Address feeding concerns and help to introduce new foods and textures to broaden diet.
💜 Provide education to caregivers.

On Saturday, the MTI staff was finally able to celebrate with our yearly staff party! We had staff from Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, and Wilmington all come together to mix and mingle! There was lots of food, laughs, awards and raffle prizes! Thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend!

A few staff members teamed up the morning in order to volunteer at the Charlotte processing center for Operation Christmas Child! Our hearts were warmed seeing the magical work in order to provide gifts for children all around the world!!
