This is truly personal. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and there's so much I want to share with you.
I first came to the yoga mat 26 years ago during my own mental health crisis, yoga (and my mom & therapist) saved my life. Since then, I've had the blessing of supporting family and friends living with severe mental health diagnoses, and today, my career is fully centered around mental health care.
๐First, I want you to know: you are NOT alone.
๐Second, there is hope.
๐Third, yoga โ when approached intentionally โ can be a powerful tool to support your mental health.
Thereโs so much more Iโve learned from working with incredible, brave individuals who live with a mental health diagnosis or support someone who does.
This is a conversation we must have to foster understanding and healing.๐
This month, Iโm honored to host and co-host a series of affordable โ and in some cases free โ events to open dialogue, share tools, and build community.
I hope youโll join me.
