What a gift this morning was.

A peaceful sunrise over the lake, welcoming a brand-new year and reminding us how much there is to be thankful for.

From our main back deck and from the balcony of our last available lakefront one-bedroom apartment, the view is a daily invitation to pause, reflect, and give thanks.

As we step into this new year, we’re grateful for moments like these.

We had such a lovely day! Starting with John Neuman smoking pork, chicken, brisket, and sausage for us and Shae Stewart creating delicious sides and moon cookies,so that we could have an awesome BBQ Eclipse meal, fun and fellowship outside, and finishing with the amazement of God's creation in action.
