📌 10 Standing banded pass-throughs

📌 10 Standing banded pull-overs

📌 10 Standing alternating shoulder IR-ER rotation reaches (5 R/L)

But, we actually have the ability to control our efforts & responses to the situation / schedule changes
Both in a timely manner & with a purposeful “Plan B” in place

SKILLED PHYSIOTHERAPY - PRIORITIZE THE PRIMARY
When patients seek physiotherapy (PT), they often express issues to multiple areas of the body
Perhaps a:

* Daily headache that affects job duties

* Neck strain that is produced when looking behind oneself

* Shoulder pain that arises when reaching into the high cabinet

Whatever the concern is, a “priority list” must be established in order to have the most, effective gains

✏️ PRIORITIZE THE PRIMARY ✏️

Oftentimes, addressing the primary issue can have a positive waterfall effect
In the examples above, a daily headache will supersede a musculoskeletal concern
Address the headache first — then the neck & shoulder may have a significant reduction in symptoms
The patient may not know it, but the main point of coming to PT is to help them SEE & EXPERIENCE positive changes so they can feel more confident to function better
Always PRIORITIZE THE PRIMARY first
Then the remaining may follow

PROGRESS IS [ALWAYS] NON-LINEAR
Some of us may be in a season of coming back from an injury
While some of us may be training for an upcoming fitness or running competition
The public only sees what is laid out in front of them
But, no one ever observes what is done behind the scenes
The effort & consistent input leads to true, visible success when it really matters

📈 PROGRESS IS [ALWAYS] NON-LINEAR 📈

There are plenty of times when patients seek out physiotherapy (PT) services to only feel like they “fell short” on feeling better in a 60-minute treatment
There’s a lot of checks & balances that need to be assessed when getting the ball rolling in the right direction to feeling progress
But, what is & should be consistent is the message to relaying of how the progress patterns work
Whatever it may be, you’ve got to give yourself the time & focused effort to build consistency so you can make it to the next level
It’s not a single 60-minute PT session nor a single 60-minute exercise bout that moves the needle

📈 It’s what you’re willing to do on a consistent, daily routine to feel progress at a later time 📈

POWER: BUILD THE FUEL
What you place on your plate is what you feed into your overall health
But, it’s the consistency of what’s on your plate each time that produces the effects you feel

🍲 BUILD THE FUEL 🍲

Always start with plating protein first (e. g. chicken, fish, steak, etc.)
Next, add some complex carb sources (e. g. sweet potatoes, couscous, rice, etc.)
Then add some veggies for fiber intake (e. g. broccoli, carrots, peas, etc.)
Finally, sprinkle in some fats to balance the taste (e. g. condiments, olive oil, nuts, etc.)
If you keep BUILDING THE FUEL day after day, then you will slowly feel better, stronger, energized & all in between
Keep it simple
And the simple, desired effects will follow
