MOVEMENT WITH FORTRESS - ROM.26
This month’s recovery of the month (ROM) will focus on the lower back & hips
Perform 2-4 cycles of:
📌 5 Standing crossbody Jefferson curls R/L
📌 10 Alternating cossack squats (5 R/L)
📌 10 Repeated lumbar extensions (facing the wall)

HAVE A POTENT OFFENSE
Playing 🏀 my entire life has taught me to develop a plan of attack
Each year, I would make intentional changes into my practice routines to help prep for upcoming games
Studying game films, putting in extra reps of full-court su***de sprints, shooting free-throws under high heart rates & all in between
One can play defense their whole career
But, one must learn to play offense to win the game

The daily fuel intake
The nightly sleep routine
The intentional recovery practices
The proper hydration levels
The positive training environment
The offensive mindset

INTEL: MAKE THE LONG-TERM COMMITMENT W/ PHYSIOTHERAPY
There are many “versions” of physiotherapy (PT) one may experience
But it all depends on where your journey is to getting back to a better version of yourself
All the way from acute care PT to home health PT, it may be necessary to experience certain “versions” of PT care
Ultimately, we want to get to the PT version that helps us the most to enhancing our longevity

🧱 MAKE THE LONG-TERM COMMITMENT W/ PHYSIOTHERAPY 🧱
Just because you’re in a specific version of PT, doesn’t mean that’s where you’ll end up
However, understand that these versions of PT build upon each other
Which then leads to our desired, overall commitment in the long-term
So that when we do experience a setback, injury, sickness or go through a possible disease, we have built a better foundational armor to boost ourselves into a more positive direction
It’s time to MAKE THE LONG-TERM COMMITMENT

POWER: DON’T TRY “EVERYTHING”
If you tried “everything” then you’ve been consistent with nothing
I get it, it can be difficult to attempt to figure out how to improve your health, wellness, fitness & recovery profiles
Being pulled in all or every direction But, you need to have the right arrow to point yourself in one, single direction in order to experience the effects
Effects may be positive or negative
Either way, you will truly find if something works or not — but only if you’ve been consistent with the thing

There’s too much inconsistency with everything
And…doing everything won’t work But,
There is something with consistency if you stick to one thing
One thing so specific that the results will show over time
