Another rave review for Virtual Vision Therapy! Dr. B has seen improvements across the board in patients who have used this tool!
πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

"We have been involved with virtual visual therapy for about a month now and we couldn't be more pleased. Mrs. Teri has been fantastic adjusting to W's needs, as well as the technology... We have seen so much growth and improvement with her grades and reading ability. With that being said, we knew it was important to not have a gap in her therapy. Knowing some regression would occur when therapy was complete, we did not want it to happen now with all the growth we have seen. We are so grateful for the opportunity to continue with therapy virtually and can't wait to get back to the office!"

My heart has been so happy to see so many patients in-person over the past couple weeks. I especially want to share some great news - at EVERY progress visit for patients that have been participating in "Virtual VT" during the pandemic, those patients have shown continued improvement in their visual skills and related symptoms! It's been great to hear and read so many stories from patients and parents (you can see some of them below on our FB page), and to receive glowing reports from the therapists. Congratulations to all of you - your efforts have yielded measurable results! Keep up the great work!! If you or a family member are in need of vision therapy, but are not yet able to come to the office for sessions, please email us at thedvc@thedvc.net to see if you qualify for "Virtual VT".

Like many other places of business, we are requiring masks for our staff and patients. There are some great videos to help get your kids acclimated to wearing masks themselves and seeing the grown-ups around them in masks.

Who are we?

The Developmental Vision Center, founded in 2005 by Philip C. Bugaiski, OD, FCOVD, FCSO,is Charlotte’s first optometric clinic exclusively dedicated to patients with vision problems requiring more than glasses or contact lenses. You probably know a person like this in your life:

...the child who seems smart in everything but school

...the adult who struggles with headaches or motion sickness

...the survivor of a head injury or stroke who is told that nothing is wrong.
